Demonstrating just how systemic and/or intractable the biggest issues affecting Major League Baseball and our Cleveland Indians are, our 2009 MLB-Tribe Preview is exactly the same as our 2008 Preview, but is no less Authoritative or Comprehensive. It's exactly what we'd say about the Tribe and MLB today, with the possible exception that we might have more to say about the Curse of Wahoo,* which nobody wants to hear about anyway.
So Wahoo! Have at it, your 2009 Frowns MLB-Tribe Preview right here, which was published as a 2008 as guest feature at our good friend and loyal commenter Bryan's now defunct baseball blog Me and Pedro Down by the Ballpark. (Original Frowns link here.)
Ahhhh MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL.**
*Our original post on the Curse hadn't been written yet.

***The NFL Draft in less than two weeks! A mere three and half months until NFL pre-season! We'll be back tomorrow to talk Browns.

The Tribe's 1-6 start kinda kills the buzz for baseball talk: how about pushing football up a day?

I'm surprised the Browns aren't asking for a defensive end, but they do need to fill Bray's void. Hixon is not as polished as Steve Smith, but he has a bigger upside.
Looks like Quinn is on his way out too.
